The boy was urgently operated on. The operation was successful. Doctors removed almost two dozen tiny magnets from the duodenum and colon.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, the patient's life is not in danger now. Doctors urge adults to carefully check all toys in the house, especially those with magnetic elements. It is also necessary to remove small objects like batteries, coins, and construction parts from the kids.

Earlier, a similar incident occurred in Yessentuki. A three-year-old boy swallowed more than 25 stones of different sizes. Doctors prescribed cleansing therapy for him.
