SVO veterans took part in the "Hero of my district" forum

Veterans of the SVO held meetings with guests of the patriotic forum "Hero of my District", which was held at the Moscow Center for Professional and Career Development. Rescuers, athletes, public figures and the capital's youth also took part in the event, the organizers said.

"Hundreds of forum visitors were able to personally communicate with the heroes living among us, as well as ask questions, thank them and find out who is an example for them," said Marina Prozorova, Deputy head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities of Moscow.

In particular, the forum was attended by Alexey Saprygin, head of the Gyurza patriotic education unit, and Andrey Karasev, commander of the UAV group of the 88th Hispaniola brigade, Knight of the Order of Courage. Soviet football player and Russian football coach Anatoly Korobochka, the head of the Russian Donbass project Anna Shchelkushkina and the head of the Directorate of Youth Policy of the Russian State University Denis Uvarkin also talked with the visitors.

The forum included exhibitions of photo portraits of the participants of the SVO and uniforms of the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. One of the exhibits was a fire truck located next to the forum site. In addition, patriotic workshops and classes on the basics of tactical medicine were held for the visitors.

The Hero of My District Forum is named after the project of the same name, in which young Muscovites interview participants, volunteers, and teachers. More than 140 interviews have been published on the project's online platform.
