A new high-pressure gas pipeline will be launched in December in the direction of the Baydar Valley near Sevastopol. This was announced by the governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhaev in his social networks.

According to him, only Russian-made technologies and materials were used during the work. The infrastructure is designed for 50 years of service, followed by extended service life.

The length of the pipe is more than 30 km. By the end of this week, the pipeline will be tested for strength and tightness. This is a mandatory step before commissioning.

By early December, the commission will conduct an official inspection of the facility, after which a permit for gas supply will be issued. Residents of Shirokoe will be the first to receive fuel in 2026, writes IA SevastopolMedia.

Next, residents of the villages of Tylovoye, Ozernoye, Peredovoye and Orlinoye will be able to connect to the gas. For convenience, the territorial headquarters of Sevastopolgaz are organized in the settlements.

Earlier it was reported that the inter-settlement gas pipeline on the Southern coast of Crimea will be completed by September 2026. The work is divided into three stages, the first two have already been completed.
