The media reported on the abandoned grave of actress Svetlichnaya
The grave of Soviet and Russian theater and film actress Svetlana Svetlichnaya looks abandoned a year after her death. This was reported on November 18 by the newspaper aif.ru .
According to the publication, Svetlichnaya spent the last months of her life in the First Moscow Hospice. In the summer of 2024, doctors diagnosed her with a combination of cardiovascular pathology and a progressive tumor of the oropharynx. Shortly before her death, the actress was also diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and severe dementia.
The grave of the actress looks abandoned: a wreath hangs on the cross, which has been standing here for a year, faded and lost its shape. There are fresh fir branches on the ground, but almost no living flowers. Several artificial ones are lying next to a small portrait, and a wilted bouquet is in a fallen vase. Employees of the cemetery said that for the whole year they had not seen anyone who would come to the burial of the actress.
The publication clarifies that Svetlichnaya's personal fate was not easy. Her husband, actor Vladimir Ivashov, left her. After the divorce, she left their shared apartment. Later, the artist's son stated that he had no relationship with his mother.
"Apparently, the departed star will remain lonely forever: during her lifetime, her closest people disowned her, and after her death, no one needs her," the article says.
The actress died in a hospice on November 16, 2024. Vyacheslav Shmyrov, a Soviet Russian film critic and editor, said that the woman's health had been poor lately.
The artist's condition has been rapidly deteriorating since 2021. In November, she was admitted to a hospital in the capital due to heart problems. During the treatment, the woman began to change her behavior emotionally.
Hospitalization was also reported in November 2022. In the same year, Svetlana's relatives stopped denying the rumors that she had dementia.
