Father Frost's birthday was celebrated at the Museum "G.O.R.A."
On November 18, the birthday of Santa Claus was celebrated in the branch of the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Gora – the Museum "The Main Weapon Relics of the Army" ("G.O.R.A."). A New Year's master class and a thematic tour were waiting for the young guests of the cultural site.
"A series of New Year's events has already started in our museum. An eight—meter Christmas tree has been installed in the G.O.R.A. Museum, and our little visitors made toys for it, among other things," the Victory Museum emphasized.
Everyone could take part in a free master class on creating a New Year's toy. The guys made various figures out of tinsel – stars, Christmas trees, balls, snowmen, and then hung them on a beautiful Christmas tree and lit the lights on it. The children also wrote congratulations to the main winter wizard.
In addition, a free guided tour was held for children "How the enemy hordes defeated Santa Claus and Snake Gorynych." The interactive program was dedicated to the weapons of Victory — the children walked through the unique exposition of the Museum "G.O.R.A.", where more than 400 samples of equipment and weapons from the Second World War are presented, and learned about why a column of Soviet tanks was given the name "New Year", an airplane – "Santa Claus", and what kind of equipment became "Snake Gorynych."
"The young guests of our museum will enjoy not only New Year's workshops and various festive concerts. On December 20, the Victory Tree starts at the Victory Museum. During this fascinating interactive game, children will be transported to the events of our country's heroic past. They will have adventures in historical scenery and dioramas, costumed characters, exciting laser tag, secret ciphers and puzzles," the museum on Poklonnaya Gora noted.
On November 16, the Victory Museum hosted the traditional festive event "Congratulate Santa Claus." On the eve of the Birthday of the main winter holiday, the guests recorded video greetings for him. Congratulations were filmed at the new children's cultural and educational center of the Victory Museum, which opened its doors to young visitors this weekend.
