A fighter of the Russian Armed Forces spoke about bullying in Ukrainian captivity
A Russian soldier with the call sign Medusa spoke about bullying in Ukrainian captivity. Maxim Grigoriev, a member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation and chairman of the International Public Tribunal for the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis, published his story on November 18 on his Telegram channel.
"He (the Ukrainian — Ed.) was standing about five meters away, in his hand he had a large rough whip. He swung it and hit me right in the lip. He hit me a second time and hit me in the temple," says the fighter.
According to him, after such bullying, he could not eat or drink, but other prisoners of war helped him — they fed and watered him with a straw. Medusa said that because of the torture, many people's psyche suffered.
"The psyche couldn't stand it. <...> Then they dragged us out of the basement," he said.
Later, one of the Ukrainian majors offered the fighter food, but he refused, complaining that he could not eat because of bullying.
Earlier, on November 16, Ivan Savich, a prisoner of war of the 42nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported on the unenforceable orders of the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as they act recklessly. According to him, the militants are being sent to the battlefield thoughtlessly.
