Gladkov and Ryumin discussed the tasks of the Belgorod Region's grid complex

Andrey Ryumin, head of the ROSSETI Group, discussed with Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod Region, the tasks of power engineers in the region. The key topics were the implementation of production and investment plans, electricity supply to border areas, the company said.

They noted that, despite the difficult situation and external influences, ROSSETI carried out preparations for the heating season in accordance with the schedules. An enhanced emergency reserve of materials and equipment has been formed. More than 1.4 billion rubles were allocated for the repair program this year, which is 8% more than in 2024.

"Every resident of the Belgorod region is very grateful to our power engineers, who promptly repair the damage after the shelling, restore the operation of the region's energy system, making truly heroic efforts for this, risking their lives. And at the same time, they understand that the region, despite all the trials, continues to move forward and develop. And we need new capacities for the enterprises we are creating and to ensure their stable operation," Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"The situation remains difficult, but power engineers are doing everything possible to ensure reliable power supply to consumers during the heating season, when the load on the grid increases further. In addition, we continue to develop the network infrastructure so that the region can successfully solve social problems and increase the economy. In 2025, the volume of investments of the ROSSETI Group in the Belgorod region exceeded 9.5 billion rubles," said Andrey Ryumin.

It is noted that several major tasks have already been solved. So, ROSSETI connected a new elevator for 100 thousand tons of grain, which is under construction in Gubkinsky district. A seed plant is being built nearby. Work is underway to strengthen energy ties between the Belgorod Region and neighboring regions, and to provide capacity for new residential complexes and industrial sites. Automation of the 10 kV network is underway in the Starooskolsky and Korochansky urban districts.
