Two unique diamonds weighing 55.96 and 135.75 carats were mined at the V. Grib deposit in the Arkhangelsk region. This was announced on November 18 by the governor of the region, Alexander Tsybulsky.

"Two gem—quality diamonds have been mined <...> — finds that can rightfully be called a rare success of diamond miners!" the governor wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Tsybulsky, these crystals became the third and fourth particularly large samples extracted this year, as well as the 50th and 51st unique stones for the entire period of industrial quarry development. Each of them is distinguished by its exceptional purity, transparency and impressive natural shape.

On October 13, a 340-carat diamond was mined at the same deposit. It clarifies that the stone is of "exceptional quality" and is highly valued in the market. The proportion of such crystals is equivalent to only 2% of all diamonds in nature.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
