Half of the Russians injured in an accident in Egypt returned to Russia
Sixteen Russian tourists injured in two road accidents in Egypt last week have returned to Russia. This was announced on November 18 by the Russian Consulate General in Hurghada.
"Among the 27 Russian citizens injured in an accident on November 11 <...>, 16 left Egypt, nine are in hotels <...>, two are still being treated in hospitals," the Consulate General quoted RIA Novosti as saying.
It is also specified that of the five Russians involved in an accident on the night of November 14, two were seriously injured. After the operations, their condition stabilized.
"One citizen is still in serious condition <...>, the other is on the mend after surgery, the rest <...> have been discharged," the department said.
On November 11, a bus collided with a truck on the Ras Gareb road in Egypt. As a result, two people were killed and 39 others were injured, 27 of whom were Russians.
Later it was reported about the death of a Russian citizen in an accident. The fact of her death was confirmed by the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Hurghada. Five more Russian tourists suffered moderate injuries and were hospitalized.
On November 14, five Russian citizens were injured in a minibus accident between the Egyptian resorts of Al-Qusair and Marsa Alam. It is noted that the victims were transferred to the central hospital of Al-Qusair. There is also a German citizen among the victims.
