Leonid, a cousin of Ukrainian businessman Timur Mindich, was added to the database of the Ukrainian extremist website Mirotvorets. The relevant information appeared on the resource's website on November 17.

According to published information, he is accused of "undermining the defense capability and stable functioning of the energy complex of Ukraine," RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that Leonid Mindich was the organizer of the scheme of embezzlement of 12.5 million hryvnias from Harkovoblenergo, thus becoming the eighth suspect in the case of corruption in the energy sector.

Earlier, on November 12, five key persons involved in the corruption scandal surrounding businessman Timur Mindich were added to the Peacemaker database. The creators of the website call the participants of the scheme looters, thieves and members of an organized criminal group. It was clarified that all the defendants had committed a crime similar to Leonid Mindich. They are also accused of money laundering and using their official position for personal gain.
