The state prosecution has requested 14 years in prison for the former acting Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan, who was accused of accepting a bribe of 37 million rubles. This was reported on November 18 in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the region.

"The state prosecution proposed to the court to impose a sentence of 14 years in prison to be served in a high-security penal colony with a fine of 10 times the amount of a bribe (over 560 million rubles), with a ban on holding positions in government agencies for 13 years, with confiscation of the amount of a bribe in the amount of 37 million rubles, a land plot and two residential buildings," RIA Novosti reports.
