Papin and Fogum will face off in the main fight of REN TV's Fight Club

There are ten days left before the start of the new season of REN TV's Fight Club. Vologda will be the first to host the tournament on November 28, where the strongest fighters from different countries will arrive. Preparations for the boxing night have reached the final stage.

The main event will be the meeting of Alexei Papin and Cameroonian heavyweight Rolly Lambert Fogum. The tournament layout makes this one of the most anticipated fights. Papin approaches the fight in optimal form, focusing on speed and endurance, while his opponent is known for powerful, focused punches and a collection of titles collected on three continents.

"I'm looking forward to coming to Russia, the most important thing for me is to have a good time, because Russia is a wonderful country," said Fogum.

The Cameroonian emphasizes his international status by showing off each of his belts. Papin is strengthening his position as one of Russia's most dangerous heavyweights, with most of his recent fights ending in knockouts. Experts say that the match could be one of the most spectacular of the season.

Tension is also growing between the participants of the co—main fight, in which Greg Hardy, a former 140 kg UFC fighter, and Evgeny Goncharov, a representative of Russian MMA, will meet. Hardy demonstrates confidence in advance, while Goncharov relies on experience and more sophisticated technique, recalling that the duel between Papin and Hardy showed that the mass does not always decide the outcome of the fight.

"Size doesn't matter to me, big or small. I believe in my strength, I believe in my experience," Goncharov admitted.

Earlier, on November 15, Russian mixed martial artist Alexei Oleinik, in an interview with Izvestia, called Papin a "real plowman" and expressed confidence in his victory over Fogum. According to Oleinik, Papin is following the right path and demonstrating the right views of a citizen of his country.
