On November 18, operators of unmanned systems of the 4th Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces told Izvestia correspondent Egor Kildibekov about how they are trained to work with FPV drones.

The operator of unmanned systems with the call sign Marcel noted that it was not easy to start.: At first, he trained only on a simulator and doubted that he could do it, but thanks to the instructors, after five days he was able to fly confidently in a virtual environment.

Kildibekov stressed that a beginner will almost certainly crash the drone on the first takeoff, so the fighters practice their first skills exclusively in the simulator, where "the number of broken birds is unlimited."

According to one of the soldiers, FPV drones are becoming an indispensable tool on the front line: they allow you to hit any targets and help save the lives of fighters - tasks can arise suddenly, so training is ongoing.

"21 days is enough to train a specialist: we start with theory, with simulations, with understanding what an unmanned system is in general. I recently graduated from a specialist with the call sign Manul. He turned out to be a very good specialist, he has already hit a lot of targets," the instructor with the call sign Zera shared.

Earlier, on November 15, Russian drone operators of the 4th Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces showed the process of launching a drone, which is called the killer of dugouts and shelters. It was noted that the deployment took no more than two minutes.
