Indian man lost 18 relatives in an accident in Saudi Arabia
Indian citizen Syed Rashid, 35, lost 18 members of his family in an accident in Saudi Arabia involving a bus that crashed into a fuel tanker truck. This was reported on November 17 by the Indian newspaper Hindustan Times.
"I never thought that this would be the last time (saying goodbye before the trip. — Ed.) when I see them," he said.
Rashid clarified that he had warned his family members not to travel together. His parents, brother, sister-in-law and three children are among the dead.
On the same day, India Today TV channel reported that at least 42 Indian Muslim pilgrims from the city of Hyderabad were killed in an accident. According to the TV channel, several more people were injured in the incident.
