Daniil Batalov, the son of Irina Usoltseva, who disappeared in the taiga, said that his parents and five-year-old sister are alive and managed to get out of the search area on their own. He stated this on November 17 in a conversation with the Krasnoyarsk portal. NGS24.Ru .

"I am 100% sure that my parents are alive, that they are not in the Kuturchinsky Belogoriya right now. <...> And my father, a very experienced man, an experienced taiga ranger, mountaineer, tourist, he simply could not get lost without leaving traces," he said.

The young man stressed that a large-scale search involving many people had not revealed any clues, which contradicts the logic of the incident with experienced tourists. According to Batalov, his father always taught him that lost people should leave footprints, but in this case, their complete absence makes him believe in a successful outcome.

On September 28, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported the loss of the Usoltsev family in the Minsk Loop area when they were heading to Mount Pinocchio. At the same time, over 515 km of forest roads and 40 square kilometers of woodlands were explored in search of missing tourists.

The active phase of the search was completed on October 12, but the work will continue in the format of point tasks, which will be performed by certified rescuers and professionals. Also, on October 22, investigators called the accident the main version of the family's disappearance.
