Moscow's Muzeon Art Park plans to put street art objects in order: more than 80 sculptures will be sent for inspection and restoration. This was reported by the Gorky Park press service on Monday, October 17.
The annual inspection revealed the unsatisfactory and even critical condition of the pedestals and structures of a number of exhibits, which creates a risk of their destruction and poses a danger to visitors. kp.ru . Among the works are monuments of the Soviet period, sculptures from the late 1990s, as well as limestone statues from the garden of white stone figures, writes Moscow 24.
The park noted that the restoration of art objects is carried out regularly, but such large-scale work to preserve the collection has not been carried out before. Some of the items may be sent to the Grabar All-Russian Art Research and Restoration Center, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
