The situation with the hostage-taking of a woman and a child in Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, is under control, the mayor of the city, Igor Kabets, announced on November 17.

He noted that the house on Malysheva Street, where the events are taking place, was cordoned off. All law enforcement and operational services are working at the scene of the emergency.
