In the city of Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, an unknown man took a woman and a child hostage and threatened to blow up the entrance to an apartment building. On November 17, Izvestia was informed about this by an eyewitness of what was happening.

It is noted that the incident takes place on Malyshev Street. According to the woman, local residents are being evacuated as security officers prepare to storm the building.

"I just came home, I was turned around by law enforcement officers, they said your entrance was evacuated, no one is allowed in. I asked what happened. A car is being threatened by an exploding grenade in a neighboring house," a local resident said.

She added that she did not know if the woman and child being held hostage were directly involved in the threat to their lives. Presumably, all three live together in the same apartment. The eyewitness herself is in the neighboring house with relatives and is watching what is happening from the window.

"Our entrance was evacuated because it is in the affected area. There are just traffic police cars at the entrance, no one is allowed into the entrances, everything is cordoned off," she added.
