Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), allegedly refused to return to Ukraine amid a corruption scandal. This was reported on November 17 by the Clash Report portal.

According to him, the politician has already personally informed the President of the country, Vladimir Zelensky, about his decision.
