Prices for used electric vehicles and hybrids have decreased in Russia
For the year from October 2024 to October 2025, the average cost of a used electric car decreased by 19.1% to 3.39 million rubles, and the plug-in hybrid — by 16.9% to 4.41 million rubles. The National Agency for Industrial Information (NAPI) announced this on November 17 in its Telegram channel.
As for the primary market, the average price of new electric vehicles in Russia remained almost unchanged over the year and amounted to 6.86 million rubles. At the same time, the price of new hybrids increased by 12.5% and reached 8.1 million rubles.
At the same time, for the month from September to October 2025, the price of new electric cars decreased by 13.7%, and for new hybrids — by 0.7%. The cost of used electric vehicles increased by 5.7%, and used hybrid vehicles — by 11.6%.
Analysts attributed the drop in prices for new electric vehicles in mid-autumn to an increase in the number of price offers for Russian-made electric cars, which are on average cheaper than imported cars.
Earlier, on November 16, it was reported that in the first half of November 2025, prices for new cars on the Russian market changed. Ten brands have increased prices for individual models, one has decreased, and another has experienced both price increases and price decreases.
