Benoit Groux has decided to leave the post of head coach of the Traktor Chelyabinsk hockey club, explaining this with moral and physical exhaustion. His statement was published on November 17 by the team's press service in its Telegram channel.

"Lately, I no longer see myself as the person who should lead the team. I feel extremely tired, both mentally and physically. Over time, this became a problem for me," the Gru said.

Rafael Richet was appointed acting head coach in the match against Metallurg on November 18. Gru thanked the Traktor fans and the club's management for their support and the opportunity to lead the team. He noted that the Chelyabinsk club will remain for him "a vivid memory for the rest of his life."

As specified by "Gazeta.Ru", under the leadership of Gru Traktor, reached the Gagarin Cup final in the 2024/25 season, where it lost to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
