A blogger was detained in Moscow on suspicion of seducing girls.

A man accused of committing sexual crimes against minors has been detained in Moscow. This was announced on November 17 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in Moscow.

"In January 2024, the defendant, while in Moscow, entered into an online correspondence with an 11-year-old girl, during which he forced the victim to send him photos of intimate content, as well as sent her videos of this nature," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the investigation, the attacker also committed sexual violence against the girl during a personal meeting. In October 2025, he similarly committed crimes against a 13-year-old girl. The investigation checks the accused for involvement in other similar crimes.

According to a source in Izvestia, the detainee turned out to be 38-year-old blogger Sergei N., who posts pagan videos on social networks and addresses the audience as "brothers and sisters."

On August 5, Vitaly Shankin, a children's karate coach from Yegoryevsk near Moscow, was sentenced to 21 years in prison in a high-security penal colony in a pedophilia case. He was also banned from engaging in child-related activities for 20 years. In addition, the defendant will have to be treated by a psychiatrist.
