Changes to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation regarding platform employment may affect 9.5 million people. This was stated on November 17 by the head of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (FNPR) Sergey Chernogaev at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"For our part, we have prepared amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation regarding the regulation of platform employment...> If these changes are adopted, it will affect about 9.5 million people working," Chernogaev said during the meeting.
