Moscow court arrests ex-head of the Russian Youth Union Krasnorutsky

The Tverskoy Court of Moscow has sent Pavel Krasnorutsky, the former chairman of the Russian Youth Union, into custody in a case of especially large-scale embezzlement. This was reported by law enforcement agencies on November 17.

"The court granted the request of the investigation and chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for Krasnorutsky. He is charged under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Criminal liability for committing theft of other people's property by misappropriation or embezzlement as part of an organized group or on an especially large scale" — Ed.)," TASS cites the text of the message.
