The meeting of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris is a disgrace. This was announced on November 17 by the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot.

"What a shame: in the midst of a corruption scandal, while Ukrainians are protesting against the government, Zelensky gets a luxurious reception from Macron!" the politician wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Philippot called for an end to the "ugly spectacle" and said that France should strive for peace by stopping the supply of weapons and financial assistance to Ukraine.

On November 17, Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron approved a declaration outlining Kiev's plans to purchase French weapons. The document is designed for a ten-year period and includes the intention to purchase Rafale fighter jets. The agreement specifically involves the purchase of equipment, and deliveries are expected in the long term and on a fee basis.
