Von der Leyen sent EU countries a plan to help Kiev at the expense of Russian assets
The head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen has sent a letter to the European Union (EU) countries, which contains official proposals for the expropriation of Russian assets. This was reported on November 17 by the Reuters news agency, referring to the available document.
There are also two alternative financing options for Ukraine based on loans. The head of the EC stressed that the lack of funding for Kiev for 2026-2027 is "very significant."
