A five-storey building caught fire in the center of Moscow

A fire broke out in a five-storey building under construction in the center of Moscow. This was announced on November 17 by the Moscow Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The footage shows a thick column of smoke from a fire that occurred near the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Soymonovsky Passage.

According to the agency, 77 people and 22 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. By now, the fire has been localized. Complete liquidation work is underway. There was no information about the victims.

As the source of Izvestia pointed out, the cause of the fire was the ignition of building materials or debris.
