Record grape harvest was harvested in Krasnodar region

Farmers have harvested a record grape harvest in 2025 in the Krasnodar Territory. A total of 305 thousand tons of berries were obtained.

According to KrasnodarMedia news agency, Temryuk district has become the leader in harvest. Almost 70% of grapes are harvested here and 63% of wine production is produced.

According to the head of the region, Veniamin Kondratiev, in 2019, when the federal law on viticulture and winemaking was adopted, farmers managed to displace imported raw materials. The vineyard area has grown from 25 to 32.5 thousand hectares. The number of nurseries that grow seedlings has also increased.

Kuban produces about 46% of all Russian wine from its own grapes. In 2024 alone, wineries produced 232 million liters of still and sparkling wines. Since the beginning of 2025, manufacturers have produced 180 million liters of beverages.
