A criminal investigation into the death of a teenager from electric shock has been completed in the Trans-Baikal Territory. Charges were brought against the energy engineer of the construction site.

The incident occurred at the construction site of an apartment building in Chita. According to investigators, the engineer allowed the use of a damaged power cable, which was laid along a concrete fence near the sidewalk. As a result of the insulation violation, the fence was energized, which caused a 14-year-old boy to be fatally injured. The ChitaMedia news agency writes about this.

In Tyumen, a worker received an electric shock at the construction site of an apartment building. A 22-year-old man plugged an extension cord into an outlet, the wire of which was on the floor in the water with broken insulation. The victim died from the injury.
