The State Duma proposes to partially repay the mortgage at the birth of children

Just Russia offers to partially repay the mortgage upon the birth of children, party leader Sergei Mironov told Izvestia.

"We have long been offering to partially repay the mortgage upon the birth of children. When the first child appears, the state repays 500 thousand rubles of the loan, the second – 600 thousand, the third – 700 thousand rubles. As a result, a large family can receive a total of 1.8 million rubles, instead of 450 thousand, as it is now," said the parliamentarian.

The party has also long proposed extending family mortgages to secondary housing. It is more affordable, often does not require expensive repairs, and this is important for families with children, says Mironov. Earlier, the authorities decided to limit the expansion of family mortgages to "secondary mortgages" from April 1, 2025 in 901 cities with a low level of housing construction — where no more than two houses are being built.
