Finland has launched military exercises near the Russian border

Artillery exercises involving more than 2,000 troops and 500 pieces of equipment began on November 17 in northern Finland, 100 km from the Russian border. This is reported by Yle TV company.

The exercise, called Northern Strike 225, will be held at the largest Rowayarvi training ground in Western Europe in Lapland until November 25. 2,200 military personnel and 500 pieces of equipment will take part in them.
