The suspect in the murder of her son in Balashikha, Moscow region, allegedly suffers from schizophrenia. This was reported on November 17 by RIA Novosti with reference to law enforcement agencies.

"It has been previously established that the woman suffers from schizophrenia," the agency's source said.

It is specified that the mother of the murdered child was treated many times in a psychiatric hospital, and also used narcotic substances.

The tragedy occurred on November 16 in the east of Moscow. Human remains were found in the Golyanovsky pond. Later, investigators found out that they belonged to a child between the ages of seven and ten. The boy's body was found in Balashikha, Moscow region. According to the Izvestia source, the boy was killed by his mother's roommate, who was under the influence of drugs.

Later, on the night of November 17, the boy's mother was taken out of the entrance by the police. The policewoman was put in a car by the guards. As residents of the house told Izvestia, the child's mother often behaved outside the box and gave the impression of a person with psychological problems.

On the morning of November 17, the child's mother was detained on suspicion of murder. She confessed to the crime by writing a confession.
