The prisoner told about the shootout of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants with each other near Krasnoarmeysk

Fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) they staged a shootout among themselves while trying to unblock Krasnoarmeysk (the Ukrainian name is Pokrovsk). Ruslan Shakhun, a serviceman of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, who surrendered to the 30th separate motorized Rifle brigade of the Center group of forces, told about this on November 17.

"There was no specific task set in Pokrovsk. It was simply said: disembark from a helicopter — and that's where you go. That's it. There were posts there when we were walking. They started firing at them from our side, and no one even told us that ours were there, at these checkpoints," Shakhun said in a video released by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The prisoner signed a contract for military service after six years in prison for assault. According to him, an acquaintance promised that he would not fight and would stay at the base.

He also said that during the small preparation of their group for actions during helicopter landings, even the head of the GUR Kirill Budanov (included in the list of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation) arrived at the military.

According to the prisoner, in the very first minutes after the landing, he heard on the radio that most of those who had landed had already been injured, while others were not in touch. The Shahun himself was also wounded.

"I want to tell you: it's better not to go to war. It's not worth it, seriously. It's just not worth it. I was very lucky to be rescued. I screamed and screamed. But not everyone is so lucky, in fact," the prisoner addressed the Ukrainian soldiers.

The enemy was surrounded for two weeks without food at Dimitrov's and laid down his arms after seeing the Russian instructions for surrender.

Earlier, on November 16, another prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ivan Savich, said that the orders of the commanders were often thoughtless and almost impossible to carry out. According to him, soldiers were sent to positions without proper supplies and training, and mobilization took place even on the way to work.
