Fico canceled an appeal on the occasion of Freedom Day due to illness
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico canceled an address expected on Sunday, November 16, on the occasion of the national holiday — the Day of Struggle for Freedom and Democracy — due to health problems. This was reported on the same day by the Markíza TV channel.
"The deputy chairman of the Smer party, Eric Kaliniak, said that Fico was felled by a viral disease," the TV channel reports.
It is noted that the deterioration of the politician's health became noticeable a day earlier, on Saturday.
Earlier, on May 3, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic interrupted a visit to the United States due to illness. It was not specified what exactly the Serbian leader was ill with.
