In Ukraine, in the Lviv region, a man detonated a grenade after he was stopped by a police patrol for violating traffic rules. This was announced on November 16 by the regional police press service on Facebook (Meta is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned).

"In the town of Rudki, Sambor district, Lviv region, police stopped an Alfa Romeo car, the driver of which violated traffic regulations. The driver, a 37—year-old resident of one of the villages of the district, took out a grenade and detonated it while chatting with the police near the car," the publication says.

It is noted that the driver himself was injured in the explosion. He was hospitalized in a medical facility.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident regarding an attempt on the life of a police officer, as well as illegal arms trafficking.

Earlier, on November 6, an unidentified man in a state of alcoholic intoxication detonated an airsoft grenade in a Kiev shopping center after a conflict with staff. No one was injured in the incident. Specialists were involved at the scene.

Before that, on October 24, in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine, a man detonated a grenade in an electric train, killing four people.

Also on October 6, it was reported that in Kiev, a driver threw a live grenade towards a colleague's bus at a parking lot in the Darnytskyi district. It was clarified that the incident occurred due to a conflict with the driver of the mentioned vehicle.
