The American task force Southern Spear attacked a ship allegedly carrying drugs in the eastern Pacific Ocean. This was announced on November 16 by the Southern Command of the US Armed Forces on the social network X.

The press service of the Joint combat command of the Ministry of Defense clarified that the operation was carried out on the instructions of the Ministry of Defense Pete Hegseth.

According to preliminary data, three men on board were killed. The ministry noted that the vessel operated in international waters and allegedly posed a threat due to the transportation of narcotic substances.
