Congressman Massey Claimed at Least 20 Famous Faces in Epstein's Closed Files
Unpublished materials related to controversial financier Jeffrey Epstein include the names of at least 20 famous people who are potentially involved in crimes but have not been investigated. This was announced on November 16 by Republican Congressman Thomas Massey on ABC News.
"I don't need to guess what's in these files. <...> We know that there are at least 20 people in these files. Among them are politicians, billionaires, and film producers who are involved in criminal offenses but have not been investigated," Massey said.
It is noted that next week the American Congress should vote for the release of the remaining materials. Massey is one of the few associates of US President Donald Trump who supports the disclosure of the files, for which he has already been sharply criticized by the American leader. Trump is also suspected of having possible ties to Epstein.
The congressman expressed the opinion that the documents most likely do not indicate the involvement of Trump himself. However, according to Massey, the White House's reluctance to publish materials is aimed at protecting major donors to the current president's campaign.
He also addressed the members of the Republican Party with a warning:
"I would like to remind my Republican colleagues who decide how to vote: Donald Trump can protect you in red districts by supporting you, but in 2030 he will not be president, and you voted in defense of pedophiles. If you do not vote for the publication of these files and the president is unable to protect you, then this vote, the results of this vote will last longer than the presidency of Donald Trump," he stressed.
The day before, Trump said that he assessed his relationship with Epstein as "very bad." On the same day, the politician announced the need to investigate the possible involvement of the 42nd President of the United States Bill Clinton and a number of other high-ranking officials in Epstein's actions.
Trump also accused the Democratic Party of trying to bring up the Epstein case again in order to distract attention from internal problems and political miscalculations. He stressed that he did not consider the Republican Party to be connected with this case, and noted that Epstein was associated specifically with the Democrats.
