The "Congratulate Santa Claus" campaign was held at the Victory Museum
On November 16, the Victory Museum hosted the traditional festive event "Congratulate Santa Claus." On the eve of the Birthday of the main winter holiday, the guests recorded video greetings for him. Congratulations were filmed at the new children's cultural and educational center of the Victory Museum, which opened its doors to young visitors this weekend.
"I really liked the idea of wishing Santa Claus a happy birthday. This was my first time participating in this campaign. I want to wish Santa Claus that he never gets sick and manages to bring interesting gifts to everyone under the Christmas tree," said 10-year-old Ira from Moscow.
This year, more than 200 young museum visitors took part in the action. Together with the Snow Maiden, they conveyed wishes of health, happiness, and long life to Santa Claus. Young vocalists and dancers from Novosibirsk, who participated in the concert at the Victory Museum, also recorded their video greetings. The best recordings will then be edited into a video and posted on the museum's social media on November 18, Santa Claus' birthday.
The festive New Year's Eve event was the first event that took place at the children's cultural and educational center of the museum on Poklonnaya Gora. In addition, the young visitors of the center watched cartoons, drew, sculpted and, of course, got acquainted with the sports complex. The older guys tried their hand at the shooting range, got acquainted with the legendary weapons of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) and the soldier's way of life.
In the future, creative classes and master classes, as well as educational programs will be held here.
Earlier, on November 9, it became known that the Santa Claus themed train will arrive in Moscow on January 2. This year, the train will cover more than 20 thousand km and visit 70 cities of Russia. The train is equipped with Santa Claus's "reception car", "Fairy Village", "stage car", "puppet theater car", as well as a buffet, a restaurant and a souvenir shop.
