Actress Ekaterina Volkova was deceived when buying an apartment

Actress Ekaterina Volkova faced difficulties in a new apartment, which she acquired in the spring of this year. She told about it on September 11 on the social network Instagram (the social network belongs to the Meta company, recognized in Russia as extremist and banned).

According to the actress, together with her husband, dancer Andrey Karpov, she has to completely redo the electrical wiring. Volkova stressed that due to the mistakes of the installers, there was a real threat of a short circuit and fire. She urged subscribers to be wary of purchasing apartments in a "white box" state, noting that complaints at the acceptance stage usually remain without result.

"In the wall <...> the supply electrical wire has been extended. Without rations or any other bolted connections. This cannot be done according to the regulations when working with high voltage! After all, it's unsafe and generally a fire hazard," she wrote on the social network.

The new property was purchased for the actress' 14-year-old daughter Lisa.

The State Duma suggests uploading a cadastral number to the service and indicating the proportion of children.

Earlier, on November 4, Artem Okhmat, head of advanced projects at Level Group, told Izvestia in which cases it is worth changing windows from the developer and in which cases it is an unjustified expense. According to him, it makes sense to completely change the windows only if there are serious defects: freezing, mold, violations of the geometry of the frames or difficulties with opening. This may be a signal of possible technology violations during installation.
