Human remains were discovered in the Golyanovsky pond in the east of Moscow. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Moscow prosecutor's office.

"A criminal case has been opened under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder". — Ed.). The investigation is under control of the prosecutor's office," the agency said in a statement.

According to the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation, the allegedly fished-out remains belong to the deceased between the ages of seven and ten. The Investigative Committee also clarified that the body fragment was in a backpack.
