Three children were poisoned by carbon monoxide during an apartment fire in Buryatia

As a result of an apartment fire on Stroitelei Street in Ulan-Ude, three children received carbon monoxide poisoning. This was announced on November 16 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Buryatia in the Telegram channel.

"Three underage boys aged 12, four and one and a half years were rescued from a burning apartment. All the children with signs of poisoning by gorenje products were hospitalized," the statement said.

The fire was extinguished on an area of 10 square meters. m. 26 personnel and eight pieces of equipment took part in the operation.

According to the preliminary version, the cause of the fire was careless handling of fire.

On the same day, four people died in a fire in the Saratov region, including two minors. A criminal case has been opened into the deaths of people. The investigators who arrived at the scene conducted an inspection of the scene and ordered a number of forensic examinations.

Earlier, on November 14, it was reported that in Zheleznogorsk, Kursk region, four people died from carbon monoxide poisoning. The deceased were two boys and two girls aged from 22 to 27 years.
