The expert named the main investment tool in 2026

Deposits will remain the main instrument of financial investments in 2026. Mikhail Zadornov, an economist and former head of Otkritie FC Bank, told about this on November 15.

"For an ordinary person, a deposit remains the stable basis of an investment portfolio for the next year. <...> As an individual, like any other person, I will earn 14-13% without risk next year on a deposit," he said in the studio of the RBC TV channel.

The expert added that even with a key interest rate of 15% (currently 16.5%), the stock market would not be of interest to both retail and institutional investors.

Earlier, on November 14, financial expert Alexander Grif named ways to store money profitably. He stressed that it is better to place even some of the funds in bank deposits or use tools like deposits in friendly currencies and accounts linked to gold, instead of storing everything in a safe at home.
