Deputy Bessarab told about the way to double the pension
Citizens can more than double the size of their pension if they postpone retirement for 10 years. Svetlana Besarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, told about this on November 16.
"If a citizen decides to work at retirement age for five years, he can increase the size of his individual pension coefficients by 36%, and the fixed payment by 45%. If he postpones retirement for 10 years, he will more than double his pension," the deputy explained to TASS.
She added that if retirement is postponed, individual pension coefficients will be indexed by 2.32 times, and the fixed part by 2.11 times.
"During this entire period, the citizen will receive only a salary and will not receive a pension. Therefore, of course, everyone considers how it is more profitable for them and how to do the right thing — either to receive a pension and earnings at the same time, but its amount will be less, or to postpone receiving a pension, but upon retirement, they will receive a pension more than twice as high," said Besarab.
Earlier it was reported that on November 15, State Duma Deputy Sergei Gavrilov proposed to simplify the procedure for early retirement for citizens with increased experience. He noted that changes in the rules for calculating insurance experience in 2024 temporarily limited the exercise of the right to retire two years earlier, and clarification of regulations is required to restore fairness.
