The Russian Defense Ministry announced the disruption of two Ukrainian counterattacks in the Kupyansk area.

Russian troops thwarted two counterattacks by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the areas of Kutkovka and Petrovka in order to unblock the encircled units in Kupyansk. This was announced on November 15 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Over the past day, during the destruction of the encircled enemy group in Kupyansk, two counterattacks of units of the 143rd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 1st brigade of the National Guard from the areas of the settlements of Kutkovka and Petrovka were disrupted in order to unblock," the department's Telegram channel says.

In the Kupyansk area, units of the Zapad group of forces used fire damage, destroying up to 50 Ukrainian militants, 15 pieces of weapons and military equipment, including a British Snatch armored fighting vehicle, two mortars, three electronic warfare stations, five pickups and three cars.

Earlier, on November 14, units of the Russian Armed Forces disrupted three counterattacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv region, conducted by the enemy in order to break through to the Oskol River. During the fighting in the Kharkiv region, 15 enemy fighters and seven armored combat vehicles were destroyed.
