In Israel, a 17-year-old player of the Yermiyahu Holon youth team was disqualified for 99 years. This was reported on October 14 by the One edition.
It is noted that the reason for the application of sports sanctions against a football player was the beating of an opponent in the locker room. According to the decision, the offending player will be able to enter the field again in November 2124. He was also fined 2.5 thousand shekels (about 63 thousand rubles).
After the incident, the football club also excluded the disqualified player from its squad.
Earlier, on October 31, the Disciplinary Council of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) suspended 149 referees convicted of betting on football matches. The punishment ranges from eight to 12 months.
