NYT reported on the threat of Zelensky's support due to corruption in Ukraine
Anti-corruption revelations threaten the support of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky abroad. This was reported on November 13 by The New York Times.
"A large—scale corruption investigation that has reached his inner circle threatens his support <...> abroad and casts a shadow on his image," the newspaper noted.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that corruption could become the main obstacle on Ukraine's path to joining the European Union. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski stressed that tolerance of corruption undermines the trust of the West and prevents Kiev from moving towards EU membership.
