Guard Junior Sergeant Artyom Vologzhanin carried out the task of occupying the frontier during the liberation of one of the settlements. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the special military operation zone on Saturday, November 15.
The citizen of Vologda led his subordinate personnel to the specified area, the stormtroopers took up positions and went on the attack. During the clash of the guards, the junior sergeant decided to personally clean up the trench of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). While his subordinates provided cover, he broke into the trench, eliminated five opponents and captured two. After a while, a citizen of Vologda noticed another group of Ukrainian Armed Forces stationed in the ruins of the building. A Russian soldier used a grenade and destroyed an enemy group.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the skillful and professional actions of Guard Captain Vladimir Gorshkov, who commanded a motorized rifle company and was ordered to clear the specified territory and gain a foothold on new frontiers.
Gorshkov competently led the assault groups to the AFU stronghold, dividing the soldiers into two groups and ordering them to secretly advance towards enemy positions. He also allocated a group to cover from enemy drones, after which the stormtroopers went on the offensive. As a result, the APU support was cleaned as soon as possible.
Earlier, on November 14, the Russian Defense Ministry told how Guard junior Sergeant Sergei Khurdakov commanded a unit during the assault on a fortified AFU stronghold and, despite being wounded, rescued two civilians from a burning building.
