Germany should abandon the supply of weapons for the needs of Ukraine, while the provision of humanitarian aid can not be canceled. This was stated on November 14 by Bundestag deputy Stefan Cotre in an interview with Izvestia at the BRICS–Europe symposium in Sochi.

"Something needs to change. I'll have to say no, no more support. Humanitarian aid, yes, but no supplies of weapons or anything else," he said.

The politician pointed out that this would be a "normal reaction." At the same time, according to him, the German government is not capable of such an approach, as a result of which it continues to supply weapons to Kiev.

"They are still shaking hands with [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky and the company, and we are giving more and more money, and nothing is changing. Therefore, unfortunately, this corruption scandal will not change anything either," the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier, on November 1, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, responding to a question from Izvestia about a possible interim loan from the European Union to the Kiev regime, said that the financing of Ukraine by European countries is the sponsorship of terrorism. According to her, the Kiev regime, formed with Western money, commits terrorist attacks against peaceful Russians and the civilian population of those territories that it considers its own.
