An offshore company associated with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and businessman Timur Mindich, who is close to him, has been liquidated in Cyprus. We are talking about the company Green Family Ltd., through which the Ukrainian leader owned the Kvartal 95 film studio and companies in Russia. This fact adds an additional dimension to the high-profile corruption scandal that has erupted around Zelensky's partners.

As part of the investigation, which is being prepared for publication, Izvestia has established that the liquidation of Green Family Ltd. took place on November 1, 2025. This follows from the documents of the Cyprus registry, which were at the disposal of the editorial board. The official reason for the liquidation is voluntary dissolution.

At the same time, the documents reviewed by Izvestia indicate that the decision on the upcoming liquidation was made in the summer of 2024.

"At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Green Family Ltd., which took place on June 5, 2024, the following special decision was made: 'To liquidate Green Family Ltd. voluntarily,'" the documents say.

Before his presidency, Vladimir Zelensky, together with his partners, owned the Kvartal 95 film studio, as well as the Russian productions Green Films, Weisberg Pictures and Platinumfilm through the Cypriot Green Family.

Until 2019, shares in the Green Family were owned by Vladimir Zelensky himself, producers Boris and Sergey Shefirov, and an offshore company from the British Virgin Islands, Appex International LTD, whose owner the Ukrainian media called Timur Mindich.

In January 2019, when Zelensky had just announced his presidential ambitions, he transferred his share in the Green Family to another author of Kvartal 95, Andrei Yakovlev. And a couple of years later, in 2021, all the shareholders transferred their shares to a citizen of Latvia, Igor Zalivskis.

It is not known who he is or what relation he has to Kvartal 95, but a man with the same name appeared in British corporate documents as a marketing consultant at London-based Allstar Ventures Limited (liquidated in 2022).

At the same time, control over the Ukrainian "Quarter 95" passed from the Green Family directly to the brothers Shefir, Andrei Yakovlev and Timur Mindich. As for Russian assets, according to the data from the Kontur system.Focus", the Green Family is still listed as a co—owner of Platinumfilm LLC, and the Cypriot company withdrew from two other Russian film studios, Weisberg Pictures and Green Films, in January and April 2022, respectively.

On November 10, employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) conducted a series of searches in the framework of the case of embezzlement and large-scale corruption schemes in the state company Energoatom. In particular, searches took place at the co-owner of Kvartal 95 and Zelensky's former business partner Timur Mindich.

Ukrainian media reported that NABU detectives came to Mindich's apartment on the morning of November 10, but they failed to find the businessman at home: he had left Ukraine a few hours earlier. At the same time, searches were conducted at the office of the Minister of Justice of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, who headed the Ministry of Energy until the summer of 2025. He was suspended from his post during the investigation, and soon resigned altogether.

According to investigators, Mindich, along with his accomplices, was one of the main beneficiaries of a scheme involving the illegal receipt of funds for "kickbacks" during the procurement of Energoatom.

Later, Vladimir Zelensky approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against Timur Mindich for three years. However, some of the restrictions will be in effect indefinitely. It follows from the document that the businessman has Israeli citizenship and left Ukraine.
