The State Duma assessed the prevention of a terrorist attack against one of its top officials.

The attempt to undermine the Russian official confirms once again that Ukraine is a terrorist state. Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma's defense committee, said this on Friday, November 14.

Earlier that day, it became known that the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) prevented a terrorist act planned by the Ukrainian special services against one of the top officials of the Russian state when he visited the burial of close relatives at the Troekurovsky cemetery, writes Moscow 24.

"They no longer disdain anything, [including] committing terrorist attacks on the graves of relatives. We started with the children — the boy's fingers were blown off, 10 grams of explosives were disguised in the bill, now the officials have a clear story. As soon as a person's face gets into the camera, the fuse is triggered and the explosive device is activated," the deputy said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

Kolesnik noted that Russia has extensive experience in fighting terrorism, and all terrorists will be eliminated, he stressed.

"Ukraine has long been a terrorist state. Warriors do other things: this is a man with a gun against a man with a gun," the parliamentarian concluded.

On the same day, the FSB's Public Relations Center announced that the Russian special services had information that the Kiev regime, under the leadership of Western intelligence services, was preparing terrorist attacks against officials in Russian regions, RT reports.
